Action Research

Action Research can be categorized as holistic approach to identifying a potential problem in the school environment and then creating a action plan based upon sound data driven information.  We know that with action research we first need a problem or situation that needs some type of resolution.  After identifying where the need lies we must research the problem to see if other applicable scenarios and how others came about rectifying their problem.  This gives us a foundation about how and where to start.  This may also offer us a type of methodology that we would like to use for a resolution.  Analyzing and organizing the data objectively is of paramount importance to get a suitable outcome.  You will compile your data and make recommendations.  After going through all of your steps you have to create a plan of action.  It is of utmost importance that you include all participants and stakeholders in your plan of action to achieve the desired outcome.
